Native Flora of Senoia: A Living History
New Exhibit in 2027
THE HERBARIUM of the Old City Arboretum welcomes you to a celebration of the plants that define our region. Each specimen in this exhibit represents a moment in the life of Senoia's landscape-collected, documented, and preserved to tell the story of Senoia’s rich botanical heritage.
This inaugural collection highlights native species that shape our forests, meadows, and waterways. From towering hardwoods to delicate wildflowers, these plants have supported ecosystems, inspired traditions, and anchored the identity of this place we call home.
As you explore, we invite you to see Senoia not just as a town, but as a living landscape-one whose story continues to unfold leaf by leaf.
